This shoot was one of our favorites so far this year! Sterling is a phenomenal local artist with some breathtaking work! His artistic style is unique and every piece is its own amazing experience of movement and emotion – Sterling has a real talent for capturing essence and feeling in each piece through color, depth, texture and flow.
Working with Sterling was an absolute pleasure – and he’s a fellow Art Institute alum!

I had the pleasure of working with Shlomo Farber to create some exciting professional headshots as well as a few shots for family. He’s quite personable, easy to work with, and has a passion for his profession. I was fascinated to learn of his history and education, and impressed by his music school!
From Shlomo: “Music has mesmerized me from a very young age. Studying Piano, Writing for orchestral and choral ensembles, singing in choirs, and playing in jazz bands, I grew to become a versatile and creative musician. Following graduation from the Jerusalem Academy of Music (2012), I have been teaching students from age 5 to adults. Located in the southeast Portland, I offer music lessons (currently online) to students in the area.“

Andrea has been a friend and colleague for quite a while now and I am pleased to announce the launch of her virtual assisting firm, Parker Productivity! Andrea is highly organized, has a real love for people and is just a pleasure to be around. She is also highly detail oriented and steadfast when it comes to seeing a project through. All absolutely perfect qualities in a VA! We’ll be collaborating on quite a few projects, but today we had a great time grabbing some headshots for her website!
One extra special thing about Andrea is her love and compassion for animals. She founded Friends Fur Real, a non-profit rescue organization to help a variety of animals, primarily pet and retired show rabbits find loving homes I don’t think I’ve ever seen her without some little furry or feathered friend tagging along, and today was no exception! Meet Littles the Duck – who helped herself to a tour of the studio trailer! She also momentarily paused for a portrait 🙂
